留学で身につけた韓国民画をベースに最近では独自の表現に力を入れています。人物画や文字図、虎図など民画の特徴を持ちつつ現代的な切れ味のある作品をぜひご高覧ください。
After studying Korean folk painting as an exchange student, Kimiko Chi’s recent works have built on that foundation by placing greater emphasis on her own distinct modes of expression. With works ranging from human figurative paintings to calligraphy and paintings of tigers, we hope you enjoy this exhibition that combines the characteristics of folk art with a contemporary edge.
