Takeshi Hayashi was born in Gifu Prefecture in 1956. His sculptures are notable for their arrangement of multiple stones, all of which he uses to create an abstract atmo sphere. By using stones of many different shapes, he explores the relationship between individual stones, as well as that between the stones and the surrounding space.
